SEATTLE, WASHINGTON
As part of its “submissive friendly” line of toys and BDSM gear, DomCo has released a new product called the Lido-cane, a heavy duty rattan cane that has a small, embedded injection system that delivers a dose of lidocaine, a local anesthetic to the affect area, causing an immediate numbness which can last for up to an hour.
“It kinda hurts for a second,” submissive PrincessLittleKat told The Daily Flogger, “but then everything goes numb and you don’t feel it at all. At least not until the next day or the day after that. I couldn’t really sit for a week, actually.”
The Lido-cane comes with a warning for any submissives who may be on heart medication or suffer from hypertension.
Side effects may include: nervousness, tingling around the mouth (also known as circumoral paraesthesia), tinnitus, tremor, dizziness, blurred vision, seizures followed by depression, and with increasingly heavier exposure: drowsiness, loss of consciousness, respiratory depression and apnoea.
Even with the warnings and risks, PrincessLittleKat told us, “it is totally worth it.”
