After 6 months of posting shibari photos to Instagram, Master ITieYouTight, 22, has found it nearly impossible to get his account banned.
“All the top people are getting banned left and right,” he told The Daily Flogger, “some are even on their fifth or sixth accounts. It has become a real status symbol”
For Master ITieYouTight, having an account banned on Instagram has become a marker of success in the rope community. Accordingly, he has tried more and more “dramatic photos” that “test the limits of Instagram’s acceptable use policy.”
All to no avail. “I can’t even get shadow banned. I use supposedly banned hashtags and my photos still show up in search. It is like someone is mocking me at Instagram. It’s like they aren’t taking my kink seriously.”
Just this week, more than a dozen top rope artists and photographers found their accounts suspended without notice or appeal.
According to one top rigger, “the only thing you can do is start over. I usually get my followers back pretty quickly, but there is no way of knowing if or when they are going to shut you down again.”
We asked if they had any advice for Master ITieYouTight.
“Show some nipples,” they said, “that will get you banned outright.”
Master ITieYouTight responded that he “considered that cheating. The best riggers in the world are getting banned just for their rope work. I am hoping for the same.”
